Bar bender and fixer • Bell County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Bell County, Texas. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. On a typical shift you will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Full-time, day shift. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
