Insulation worker — Lander County

Join our team: we are hiring an insulation worker in Lander County, Nevada. You will work at a busy building site. What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam Day to day you will lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
