Flatlock machine operator — Thomas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Thomas County, Kansas. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Day to day you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
