Press operator — Douglas County

Now hiring: we are hiring a press operator in Douglas County, Washington. The job is at a busy press shop. Day-to-day duties: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Part-time with flexible hours.
