Rigging foreman wanted in Steele County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Steele County, Minnesota. The job is at a busy construction site. You will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles 6+ years on the tools preferred. $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
