Fabricator-welder — Miami County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Miami County, Indiana. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
