Power press operator — Midlothian

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power press operator in Midlothian, Scotland. You will be based at a busy press shop. You will punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer £140 per day plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
