Vacuum press operator • Powhatan County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Powhatan County, Virginia. You will give each garment a final press before packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Full-time, day shift.
