Pipe lagger — Scott County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Scott County, Iowa. You will be based on a construction site. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles On the job you will handle: • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
