Counterbalance forklift operator — Louisa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a counterbalance forklift operator in Louisa County, Iowa. You will be based in a cold storage facility. The role involves: • Carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics • Stack and de-stack goods in high-bay racking • Sweep and keep the loading bay free of debris • Read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit • Operate counterbalance and reach trucks within the marked aisles What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold store or chilled areas • Good awareness of load stability and health and safety • Willing to wear steel toe-cap boots and hi-vis Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
