Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Merrick County, Nebraska. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. The role involves set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
