Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Benton County, Oregon. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
