Lathe programmer-operator — Mason County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Mason County, Kentucky. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. The role involves: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
