Mechanical press operator — Baylor County

Now hiring: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Baylor County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Requirements: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
