Power float operator — Nicollet County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a power float operator in Nicollet County, Minnesota. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Day-to-day duties: • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing Part-time with flexible hours.
