Landscape gardener — Wake County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Wake County, North Carolina. The job is in a botanical garden. On a typical shift you will spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste. What we are looking for: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. We offer $27 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
