Cnc lathe setter — Menard County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Menard County, Texas. You will work at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet You should have: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
