Immediate opening: we are hiring a car painter in Rock County, Minnesota. You will be based at a busy body shop. What we are looking for: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing Day-to-day duties: • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper Rotating shifts.
