Milling machine operator • Johnson County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Johnson County, Illinois. You will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. You should have: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
