Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Kent County, Michigan. The job is in customers' homes and kitchens. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration On the job you will handle: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
