On a typical shift you will run first-off inspection and sign off the part; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); write and edit G-code programs at the control; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred 1+ years on the tools preferred.
