Vacancy available: we are hiring a site carpenter in Boone County, Nebraska. The job is on a residential housebuilding project. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Day-to-day duties: • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
