Semi-automatic welder — Stark County

Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Stark County, Illinois. You will be based at an automobile body shop. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test On the job you will handle: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
