Concrete pump mate — Dillon County

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Dillon County, South Carolina. The job is at an infrastructure site. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours The role involves discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength.
