Structural MIG welder • Muscatine County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Muscatine County, Iowa. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided.
