Argon welding operator • Grady County, Oklahoma

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Grady County, Oklahoma. On the job you will handle: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Overtime paid at a premium rate.
