Immediate opening: stamping press operator (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Solihull, England. What we are looking for: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Your main tasks: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts Full-time, day shift.
