Vacancy available: we are hiring a chiller technician in Linn County, Oregon. You will work at a supermarket cold-chain site. Requirements: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Valid driving licence for field call-outs Your main tasks: • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
