360 excavator operator — Emanuel County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a 360 excavator operator in Emanuel County, Georgia. You will be based on a pipeline and trenching crew. Day to day you will lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds. What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
