On the job you will handle: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals Part-time with flexible hours.
