Sample machinist wanted in Nevada County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Nevada County, California. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. You will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
