Glass and glazing technician — County Durham

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in County Durham, England. What we are looking for: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Your main tasks: • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
