Vacancy available: argon welder (Alaska)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Chugach Census Area, Alaska. You will work on a structural steel site. The role involves keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts.
