Commercial refrigeration engineer — Shropshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Shropshire, England. You will work at a busy refrigeration workshop. Your main tasks: • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge Ideal candidate: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £130 per day, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Share your details and we will call you back.
