Finish carpenter — Calaveras County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Calaveras County, California. Day-to-day duties: • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw You should have: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
