Bar bender and fixer • Red River County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Red River County, Texas. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Your main tasks: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
