Immediate opening: sand plant operator (Missouri)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Camden County, Missouri. On a typical shift you will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
