Offshore rigger — North Lanarkshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. The role involves calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position.
