Panel welder — Jackson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel welder in Jackson County, Indiana. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test You will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
