Semi-automatic welder — Irwin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Irwin County, Georgia. The role involves clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium 1+ years on the tools preferred.
