Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Laclede County, Missouri. Requirements: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Day-to-day duties: • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
