Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble worker in Escambia County, Alabama. The job is on a hotel and villa renovation project. Ideal candidate: • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs Day to day you will shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; work from cutting lists and installation drawings; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
