Bar bender and fixer — Orange County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Orange County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites The role involves fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
