Join our team: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Boyd County, Nebraska. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. On the job you will handle: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
