Join our team: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Blackburn with Darwen, England. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges The role involves: • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches 2+ years on the tools preferred. £15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
