LGV Class 1 driver — Calloway County

Now hiring: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Calloway County, Kentucky. The job is in a refrigerated transport fleet. On a typical shift you will couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; report defects and book the unit in for servicing. You should have: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Confident with manual handling and load securing Rotating shifts.
