Now hiring: we are hiring a split AC fitter in Crawford County, Indiana. The job is at a refrigeration and cooling firm. On a typical shift you will charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges; clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing; run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall; wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator; evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum; core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping. Ideal candidate: • Can read electrical and piping schematics • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
