Ideal candidate: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen The role involves: • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
