CNC machine operator • Macon County, Georgia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC machine operator in Macon County, Georgia. The job is at an injection moulding unit. Requirements: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery Your main tasks: • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
