Vacancy available: turning centre operator (Michigan)

Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Crawford County, Michigan. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. On the job you will handle: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Write and edit G-code programs at the control What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred 1+ years on the tools preferred. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
